West Ham United's transformation under Sam Allardyce was recognised on Friday when he was named Premier League Manager of the Month after three straight league wins in October.

There was a double celebration for the east London club too as Diafra Sakho, one of a number of exciting new arrivals in the summer, was named the league's Player of the Month after scoring a goal in each of the three victories.
The award for Allardyce, 60, represents a remarkable turnaround for the manager who was booed and jeered by many West Ham fans last season for what they took as unimaginative boring football, and an uninspired final 13th place finish in the table.

FIFA to Reportedly Probe $1.2 Million Stadium Project in Kebbi State

By Chimaobi Jose Nzoromobi  Warri billionaire businessman and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Chief Ayiri Emami, has revealed he advised former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Amaju Pinnick, not to locate the FIFA Forward Project stadium in Ugborodo, Delta State. In a video currently trending on social media, Chief Emami said his advice was based purely on practical and economic reasons that could have affected the timely and cost-effective completion of the project. He noted that the logistical challenges and high cost of transporting construction materials and equipment to Ugborodo made it less suitable for such project given the amount available.
