A4P SPORTS FESTIVAL: Matchday Two Produces 34 Goals, Shock Results and Early Group Leaders

The 2025 Africa for Peace Sports Festival delivered another thrilling chapter on Saturday, 22nd November, as Matchday Two exploded with 34 goals across nine matches, producing emphatic victories, tight contests and major shifts in group dynamics at the A4P Games Village Sports Arena.

With 10 million naira at stake, teams raised their intensity and attacking efficiency, resulting in one of the highest-scoring matchdays of the tournament so far.


Goals Galore as Teams Battle for Supremacy

The day opened at 3:00pm with a tight encounter as Dynamic FC earned their first win, beating FC Chimooski 1–0.
Minutes later, Pipeline Dragons and Bristol FC shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw, taking Matchday Two’s tally to two goals after the first two fixtures.

The early evening matches delivered even more excitement. Oyoka Boys continued their perfect run with a 2–0 victory over Blessed FC, pushing their total goals scored in the competition to six.

A thrilling 4–3 showdown saw Team Daudu FC edge Chief Fulani FC, producing seven goals—the highest-scoring fixture of the day.
This was followed by another impressive attacking display as Sky-Bull FC routed Bobbies United FC 5–0, adding to their growing reputation as one of the most dangerous sides in the tournament.

Group A leaders Sokoh Estate FC contributed significantly to the goal feast with a commanding 5–0 win over Mighty 5 FC in the final game of the evening.

By the end of the nine fixtures, Matchday Two had delivered 34 goals, highlighting the attacking quality and competitive spirit of this year’s competition.


Group Standings Begin to Take Shape

Group A

Sokoh Estate FC top the group with 6 points and a +7 goal difference after scoring 7 and conceding none.
Lord Mark FA follow with 4 points and 5 goals scored so far.
Ozigizaga FC and Mighty 5 FC remain in search of their first wins, with the latter conceding 8 goals in two games.

Group B

Team Daudu FC lead the pack with 6 points and 8 goals scored, making them one of the most prolific sides of the tournament.
Sky-Bull FC are second with 3 points and a healthy +4 goal difference, largely boosted by their five-goal display.
Chief Fulani FC and Bobbies United are yet to pick up points and have conceded a combined 12 goals.

Group C

Oyoka Boys stand out with 6 points and 6 goals scored, conceding none.
Blessed FC sit second with 3 points and 2 goals scored.
United Friends Stars FC and DSC All Stars FC struggle at the bottom with 1 and 0 points respectively.

Group D

Pipeline Dragons remain unbeaten with 4 points and 3 goals scored.
Dynamic FC move to second place with 3 points and 1 goal scored.
Bristol FC (1 point) and FC Chimooski (0 points, 6 goals conceded) round up the standings.


More Drama Expected as Tournament Progresses

With 34 goals thrilling spectators on Matchday Two alone, the Africa for Peace Sports Festival continues to live up to its billing as one of the most exciting grassroots tournaments in the region.

As Matchday Three approaches, teams will be desperate to secure qualification positions, while fans can expect even more intensity, passion and unforgettable football moments at the A4P Games Village in Ugolo.

The battle for the ₦10 million prize is well and truly heating up.
